EL TORO meaning ‘the bull’, serves SONORAN-style Mexican cuisine. Sonora is a high-desert country state of El Norte or the North. A parched land of canyons and cattle ranches, this area has produced much of the culture and cuisine that non-Mexicans regard as “Mexican”.
